If you wonder what is in that box, then the answer is my dream list dinnerware haha. I remembered telling my friend, Ana, about my current obsession with Bordallo Pinheiro. I know, I know, it is all over the internet probably overrated by now. But I can't help falling in love with the design. I was at the office browsing through a local website that sells Bordallo Pinheiro when one of our staff members shouted to Zaid about me buying cabbages haha. Ish sebok je. But yes, their signature collection was inspired by the vegetable — the cabbage.
Let me introduce you to my first collection of Bordallo Pinheiro.
Isn't it pretty? I love it so much that I even bought their large salad bowl. They just arrived today but I didn't take any pictures cause I'm planning on sharing it later after I find a matching tablecloth and placemats.
I was obsessed with Le Creuset the last couple of years. And I hope that this will be my last dinnerware obsession. I don't think we have enough space already in the kitchen. Speaking of that, our kitchen cabinet is not as sturdy as we thought. Our contractor failed to ensure that the shelves inside the cabinet could withstand heavy casseroles and plates. Sigh.
I never mentioned our contractor's company, cause to be honest, they gave us affordable price but the handwork quality was off. I've been thinking about adding a kitchen island but I have to think twice about hiring them again.
