I had never been to Langkawi until a few months ago and it was so mesmerising, mashaAllah. I went there with my husband and his family. Initially, my husband and I were planning to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary there. But since my sister in law's birthday was just around the corner, I decided to treat my in laws to a 3-days and 2-nights stay at The Danna Langkawi Hotel. Gosh, the hotel was so beautiful and the staff there were very friendly too. It was really worth it.

We didn't do much on our first day. We had lunch at Laksa Ikan Sekoq near the airport and went back to the hotel after that. Unfortunately for us, they ran out of fish when we arrived. So we only had laksa and a few glasses of cold drinks to quench our thirst that afternoon. The laksa was okay, I would give them an 8 out of 10. It would have been great if we had the laksa with the fish. Nevertheless, we were able to enjoy our food with a beautiful view of the ocean.

At night, we had our dinner at The Kapal Layar Langkawi. Now, here is my honest review. This restaurant was the best. The food was so good and the owner of the restaurant was friendly. We loved it we went there again on the second night of our staycation. If you are planning to stay at The Danna Langkawi, you should go to this restaurant. The food was top notch.

On our second day, we had breakfast at the hotel and went out to Dataran Lang. I decided to wear beach vibes outfit that day so I wore a floral pink dress from H&M, a white uniqlo pants and inner paired with Gucci wallet on chain bag.

We went to Pantai Cenang where all the duty free stuff located on our last day. Yes, on the last day. So clever right? My husband and I bought some chocolate and serveware. I wanted to buy the Corelle dinnerware set but because it was our last day in Langkawi and our luggages were pretty much overloaded, I decided to cancel the purchase.

Anyhow, it was a good trip. I didn't mention this earlier but I made another surprise for my husband for our anniversary this year. I contacted the hotel manager and requested to have rose petals and a cake slice in our room. They charged about RM200 for the service which was worth every penny. We loved it.

Overall, Langkawi really blew my mind away. No wonder people are so in love with this place. We had so much fun and no doubt I will repeat this trip again soon inshaAllah.
