My Birthday This Year

It seems like yesterday I sang Twenty-Two by Taylor Swift now I'm already turning 29. Where does the time go? I spent the midnight of my birthday scrolling down my Instagram gallery visiting the memories of my previous birthday celebrations. Gosh I felt happy and satisfied that I had a lot of fun in my early 20s haha.

How does it feel to be in the late 20s? Hm. Honestly, I don't know if I'm ready to hit the 3 series yet. I have a mixed feeling about it but we shall see. My husband and I celebrated my birthday in a modest way this year. Since we couldn't go out, we just had to enlighten the excitement at home. So what my husband did was he surprised me with a bouquet of roses. I love it so much.

Anyway, don't laugh, but I also bought myself a dozen of roses haha. Actually this was one of the things that my mentor taught us about self-loved. Once in a while we need to buy something for ourselves as a token of appreciation for our hard work and dedication. That way you'll feel more motivated and encouraged to achieve your goals. Try it and you'll see the difference yourself.

This year I received a round casserole and a dinner plate set from Le Creuset as my birthday presents. I was so excited to add a new member to my Le Creuset's family at home. I never had one in Cerise except a few cooking utensils. Meanwhile the rest of the collection I own are in Agave and Teal colour, so this Cerise one is so special.

When I was unboxing the round casserole, I instantly fell in love with the striking red colour. I can imagine hosting a dinner or a luncheon placing these collection on our dining table! How I wish this covid will go away sooner. The gathering would be nice.

There are a few things that I would like to achieve before turning 30 next year. Let us hope that I'll be able to reach the goal before the end of 2021 inshaAllah. That's all for now.

Take care and stay safe everyone!
